The GSSh-01-01 6M2-1 is an active hearing protection headset developed as part of Russia's Ratnik (Warrior) soldier modernization program. Designed for use with the Russian 6B47 helmet, these headsets provide enhanced situational awareness by amplifying low-level ambient sounds while automatically suppressing harmful impulse noises such as gunfire and explosions.
The 6M2-1 variant incorporates an integrated communications microphone and cable, allowing the headset to interface with compatible Russian military radio systems, including the Azart, R-168, and R-169 series. Its lightweight, low-profile design provides excellent comfort for extended wear beneath combat helmets.
