The HyFin® Chest Seal is a vented, occlusive dressing designed for the management of open and/or tension pneumothorax caused by penetrating chest trauma. It was developed for rapid application in tactical, emergency, and prehospital environments.

The HyFin® Chest Seal features a large, aggressive adhesive surface designed to adhere to the skin in challenging conditions, including blood, sweat, and dirt. Its vented design allows air to escape from the chest cavity while preventing air from re-entering the wound. The flexible backing conforms to the body for a secure seal during movement.
