SANDF Nutria Pattern 83 Chest Rig

The South African Pattern 83 Chest Rig was developed for the SADF during the Border War as a lightweight alternative to traditional belt webbing. Built for long movements in hot, rugged terrain, the design became known for its simple layout, durability, and easy access to ammunition and field gear.
