SANDF Nutria Pattern 83 Battle Jacket

The South African Pattern 83 Battle Jacket was developed as part of the SADF's Pattern 83 load-bearing system, replacing older webbing with a more integrated and comfortable vest-style design. Built for long patrols in Southern African conditions, it combines ammunition, water, utility, and sustainment storage into one rugged piece of field equipment.

Key Features:

• Five double magazine pouches – Holds up to 10 R4/Galil magazines and can also accommodate many STANAG-pattern magazines
• Two large side utility/canteen pouches – Useful for water bottles, equipment, or general field gear
• Integrated grenade and utility pouches – Additional storage for small equipment and essentials
• Large rear sustainment pouch – Two-compartment rear storage with external straps for a poncho, bedroll, or similar gear
• Padded load-bearing construction – Adjustable shoulder and waist system designed to distribute weight during extended wear

Condition: Good used military surplus condition. Expect normal signs of service including light fading, wear, markings, soldier names, or other cosmetic imperfections. All jackets remain fully functional.
