South African Bateleur Para 90 Webbing

The Bateleur 90 webbing system is a specialized South African military load-bearing rig most closely associated with SADF paratroopers and airborne operations. Built from heavy-duty Nutria Brown Cordura nylon, the system was designed to carry a substantial combat and sustainment load while distributing weight across the shoulders and waist.

The Bateleur 90 features two large double magazine pouches designed around 5.56mm R4/R5 magazines, two large double-strapped utility/canteen pouches, two shoulder strap pouches, and a rear zippered storage pouch. The padded shoulder and back sections make it considerably more comfortable under load than simpler belt-kit designs.
