Romanian M1994 “Fleck” Field Jacket 

Romania’s M1994 “Fleck” camouflage is one of the more underrated patterns to come out of the post–Cold War Warsaw Pact world. Adopted after Romania’s anti-communist revolution, it replaced the earlier M1990 “Leaf” pattern and was issued by the Forțele Armate Române throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.

Often nicknamed “Fleck” due to its resemblance to German Flecktarn, the Romanian version has earthier tones and noticeable variation between fabric batches. No two jackets look exactly the same — that’s part of the appeal.
