Greek lizard camouflage, also known as "Dapple" or "M1940," was developed by Greece in the 1980s. It's characterized by its green, brown, and tan lizard-like pattern. The design was influenced by the US M1942 Frogskin pattern and the British Brushstroke pattern. Greek lizard camo was used by the Greek military and was particularly notable during the Greek military junta of 1967–1974. While it's not as widely recognized as some other camouflage patterns, it remains an interesting part of military camouflage history.
