Condition Options
Good Condition – With Cover
Good original vintage condition with the original protective cover included. The telephone shows the expected signs of age and previous military storage/use, such as minor scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and other cosmetic marks. The included cover makes this the more complete example and a particularly nice choice for collectors.
With Cover – Heavy Use
Original military-surplus condition with the protective cover included, but showing heavier signs of previous use, storage, and handling. These examples may have more substantial scratches, scuffs, finish loss, discoloration, staining, surface oxidation, dents, worn markings, or other cosmetic wear. Covers may also show heavier wear, fading, staining, fraying, or general storage marks.
These are ideal for buyers who prefer a more heavily used, field-worn appearance or simply want a more affordable complete example with the protective cover. Condition will vary from unit to unit.
Good Condition – Without Cover
Good original vintage condition without the protective cover. The telephone shows normal signs of age and previous military use, including possible scratches, scuffs, finish wear, and other cosmetic imperfections. A good option for collectors who are primarily interested in the telephone itself.
Testing & Battery Condition
These field telephones have not been tested and are being sold as untested. Most of them had batteries left installed during storage and have battery-compartment corrosion that will require cleaning.
