JNA PC-99 Winter Paratrooper Helmet

Issued to Yugoslav airborne troops, the PC-99 Winter Helmet is a far less common variant of the standard paratrooper helmet. Featuring the same lightweight fiberglass composite shell and distinctive suspension system, this version was equipped with an insulated winter liner designed for cold-weather operations, making it one of the more desirable variants for collectors.

Unlike the clunky steel helmets of the era, the PC-99 was well ahead of its time. Its lightweight construction reduced fatigue while still providing excellent protection for airborne troops. The thick insulated liner and leather chin cup make this version immediately recognizable and significantly harder to find than its standard counterpart.
