Milicija Blue M89 Kevlar Helmet – Serbian Police Surplus
Straight out of post-Yugoslav riot control history, these Milicija-issue M89 helmets are rare survivors from Serbian law enforcement stockpiles. Finished in striking blue with “Milicija” markings, these were used by police and gendarmerie units — not military — and are extremely uncommon in the surplus world.
Constructed from ballistic Kevlar and shaped like a PASGT, these helmets come in two variants:
- With visor mount bracket
- Without visor mount
Each helmet includes the original suspension system and chinstrap unless noted. Expect authentic wear — these helmets did the rounds.
- Genuine Serbian police surplus
- Blue M89 Kevlar helmet with “Milicija” markings
- PASGT-style cut with full harness
- Two versions: with or without riot visor bracket
Condition: Surplus. Expect scuffs, fading, and possible name/unit markings. Visor not included.

The helmet came in almost exact condition as pictured and shows only small signs of usage. Very little paint chipping and the kevlar fibers are perfectly intact without decay. For a 30 year old piece of kevlar this helmet can still get the work done while adding a cool milsurp vibe!
