Soviet IMP Mine Detector – Heavily Used, Incomplete, Sold As-Is
Straight out of the Cold War era, this Soviet IMP mine detector has definitely seen better days. It’s heavily used, missing its headphones and the original holding stick, and its functionality is unknown—consider this more of a historical collectible or parts donor than a field-ready tool.
Originally, this was supposed to be a complete set, but thanks to the United States Postal Service, the rest mysteriously vanished in transit. Because of that, it’s now heavily discounted for anyone who still wants a piece of authentic Soviet engineering.
The IMP was a standard-issue Soviet military mine detector designed for frontline sappers, featuring a compact, rugged design typical of Soviet gear. Even in its current state, it’s a piece of history, perfect for display, restoration projects, or as a unique conversation starter for collectors of Cold War relics.
